Thanks so much for stopping by and taking this little piece into your consciousness. I think the work of dehumanizing people who are poor, disabled, trans, gay, black, brown, whatever isn't the dominant paradigm is not exclusive to the UK, and it's certainly nothing new-- sadly. Governments and religious institutions are so deeply entrenched in upholding the status quo that minorities, specifically ones without large purses or spheres of influence are really just throwaway people. In any event, I'm glad you're here, enjoying cats and sunsets and other small, joyful things.
